COUNSELOR APTUM

A character concept for a personal project and portfolio development.

Here a short story:

Aptum, ancient ancestor of the Queen's lineage, upon reaching the end of his long journey through life, prepared to transcend, the words of the eternal machines marked a time and when the moment arrived, Aptum released himself from all physical ties.

As his body reconstituted itself in the midst of life and death, something went wrong and Aptum was caught in the middle of unknown planes of reality, perhaps only known to the cosmic machines.

Trapped in the middle of everything and nothing, his voice became fear at first, then resignation and surprise in the end.

Centuries would pass so that Aptum's voice could be channeled by his descendants through destiny and celestial technology.

In all that time trapped between planes, he was prepared by the machines to have a role in the fate of his lineage, his word would be a guide for the leaders of his descendants, but the end of all this was still uncertain even for him.
